MARTINEZ -- Tomasita (Tommie) P. Martinez, 85 of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, November 6, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melecio Martinez. She is survived by her sister Helen Carriaga; her children, Aggie Lopez and husband Donald, Louise Greenwalt and husband Robert, Liz Thompson and husband Paul and Melecio Martinez Jr. and wife Lynn; grandchildren, Debra Cortesi and husband Craig, Denise Lopez, Toby Greenwalt and wife Jordan, Sarah Greenwalt, Christopher, Ashley and Donny Martinez; great-grandchildren, Max Nisson and Jodi Cortesi; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may visit Monday, November 10, 2008, at 6:00 pm, with Rosary starting at 7:00 pm at Salazar and Sons Mortuary. Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of The Assumption Church, Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers are Donald Lopez, Paul Thompson, Robert Greenwalt, Craig Cortesi, Toby Greenwalt, Max Nilsson and Donny Martinez. Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Martinez, Richard Perea, Larry Barela, Gilbert Martinez, Manuel Padilla, Joe Almanzar, and Maximilliano Zamora.
