STOMBERG -- Barbara Kemp Stomberg, 84, past resident of Albuquerque, died peacefully at home in Bismarck, ND, October 16, 2008, after a short illness. Private services were held in Bismarck, and burial will take place in Albuquerque, NM in the spring of 2009. Barbara was born March 13, 1924, in Indianapolis, IN, to George and Gertrude Kemp, the second of three daughters. A registered nurse, her compassion and concern for others characterized her life. She was the devoted wife of John; loving mother of Marla and Andrea; and enchanted grandmother of Adla and Owen. She was a member of the Cathedral Church of St. John in Albuquerque. She is survived by both daughters; by her grandchildren; and by her younger sister, Mary Alice Mitchell. The family requests that any memorials be directed to Charles Hall Youth Services, P.O.
