FOSTER -- James Hyrum Foster passed away peacefully at his home in the arms of his wife, Jackie on October 7, 2008. Jim is survived by his brother, Bobby Robert and wife, Spring Foster of Oregon; sister, Mary Louise McKegan of Raton; daughter, Sharon Sullivan of El Cajon, California and her children, Angela and Tommy, Angela's children, Brett, Chris and Gessie; his grandchildren, Jessie Mia and husband, Jim Bartlett and their children, Mandy and Brittney, Misty Sullivan and Jose Denada, Misty's children, Anthony and Vanessa, Marty and wife, Nancy Sullivan of Santa Rosa, CA and their children, Ashley and Emma; ten great-grandchildren; and large extended family and friends. James grew up in Raton, NM, the youngest of five children. He joined the Navy in Denver, CO in 1960 and was a Medivac from VQ1-NAS Agana, Guam in 1976. Services will be held at the Osuna Church at 4800 Lomas NE at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2008. He was a member of Post 49 and FRA.
