ORCUTT -- Dorothy L. Orcutt, age 66, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2008 at her home. She was born June 27, 1942 in Old Albuquerque, NM to Dayton and Alice Hatley. She married Kenneth G. Orcutt on December 3, 1971. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Albuquerque; her children, Robert Whelchel Jr. and his wife, Karma of Edgewood, Shirley Bradbury of Orlando, FL, Lori Avalos of Aztec, NM; grandchildren, Leah, James, Amanda, Guen, Jason, Danielle, Emma Marie, Renia, Cecila, Samantha and Trey; great-grandchildren, Liam, Josh, James, Trinity and Autumn; brother, David Hatley and wife, Vicky; sisters, Nancy Lawyer and husband, Bert, Faye Rice, and May Stone and husband, Marvin. She was preceded in death by her son, Dayton Orcutt on September 7, 1991. Graveside Services will be held Monday, October 6, 2008, at 2:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
