GALLEGOS -- Gilbert I. Gallegos, age 57, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Gilbert was in the United States Army Reserve. He is survived by his loving wife, Gertrude Gallegos; sons, Daniel and wife Evy, Mario, and wife Shannon Gallegos, he was blessed with two grandchildren, Jaydin and Nathan Gallegos. Also surviving are his sisters, Rommie Madrid and husband Daniel, Louise DeHart and husband Anthony; his brothers, Joseph Gallegos and wife Kim, Mike Gallegos and wife Joyce; and numerous other beloved family members and a host of friends. Gilbert will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be conducted Friday at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church.
