GARCIA -- David Wayne Garcia, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday. He is survived by his wife of seven years, Maria Lucero-Garcia, mother: Georgia Garcia; stepfather: Gerry L. Herrera; step-sons: Antonio, Andres and Alex Lucero; uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. David was a loving father, adoring husband, beloved son, and cherished family member and friend. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy as an MM3 and was a Persian Gulf veteran. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 11:30 a.m. Interment with military honors will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Castillo, Louis Garcia, Antonio Lucero, Dennis Torres, Celso Garcia and Lee Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be Shantell Garcia and Ernest Sena.
