KELLY -- Robert Geoffrey "Jeff" Kelly, passed away peacefully Sunday morning August 31, 2008, just before sunrise with family by his side. He was born in Camden, NJ, December 3, 1945. He grew up in Southern California, then moved to Albuquerque in 1966 while serving in the US Army, where he met his wife of 39 years, Lynn Dee Ross. Jeff graduated from the University of Albuquerque in 1972, and studied in graduate school at the University of New Mexico. Jeff and Lynn Dee moved to Los Angeles where he began his distinguished career in banking with United California Bank. In 1978, they moved back to Albuquerque where he was a successful commercial real estate broker with Roger Cox and Associates before his return to banking with Albuquerque National Bank. Jeff was a respected and loved banker in Albuquerque for 26 years, ending his career as a senior VP with Bank of America. Jeff was a member of numerous organizations including the Albuquerque Country Club, the New Mexico Mountain Man Association, the 100 Club, the NM Muzzleloader Club and the Estate Planning Council. He loved golfing, boats, hunting, skiing, cars, building things, laughing, food, the movie Die Hard, remote control planes, scary stories, traveling, camping, the beach, his friends, his work, and most of all his family. Jeff is survived by his wife; his sons Brad, Ross and Seth; his daughter Randee; his grandchildren, Juliet, Elijah, Tristan and Nicolette; his son-in-law Jason; daughters-in-law Raquel, Katherine, and Kathleen; his in-laws Ned and Lila Ross, his sister Sue; and his dog Millie. He is preceded in death by his daughter Allison; and parents Fran and Ed Kelly. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on forever in our hearts. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John Episcopal Cathedral, 318 Silver Ave. SW, Saturday, September 6, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations made to a charity of your choice.
