She is survived by her husband, Amancio M. Fernandes; daughter, Sylvia Gonzalez and husband, Rick; granddaughters, Ashley Gonzalez and Jessica Gallegos; grandson, Aaron Gonzalez; sisters, Cecelia Gallegos, Mary Chavez and husband, Adenito, Isabel Serna, Gloria Welch, Juana Oreb and husband, Richard, Clorinda Gonzales; brothers, Stan Gonzales and wife, Trini, Nestor Gonzales; and a large, extended family. Mrs. Fernandes was "The Rosary Lady." Rosary will be recited Wednesday, August 20, 2008, 9:30 a.m. and services will follow at 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel.
