HEARD -- Nellie S. Heard born January 17, 1910, passed away May 1, 2008 while visiting her daughter in California. Nellie was born and raised in Old Town San Felipe area for 93 years. She moved to Kingman, AZ in 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Heard and siblings, Gilbert Sanchez, Tony Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez, Arnold Sanchez, Finnimore Sanchez, Lucille Baca, Fabiola Valdez, Mary Duran and two siblings that preceded her as children, Tony Sanchez, Fabiola Sanchez and her parents, Eliseo Sanchez and Magdalena Sanchez, son-in-law, Joseph Sanchez Jr., granddaughter, Maria Sanchez and a great-grandchild, Garrett Sanchez. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa and husband, Alfonso Argott; grandchildren, Joseph Sanchez, Gordon Sanchez and Romana Vanegas and husband, Oscar; great-grandchildren, Michael Sanchez, Nicholas Sanchez, Brittney Sanchez, Tanya Vanegas and Cassaundra Vanegas and numerous other family members and friends. Funeral Mass will be at San Felipe De Neri Catholic Church on Monday, August 18, 2008, 11:00 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Reception will follow graveside service.
