BALDONADO -- Julian Baldonado, 78, of Edgewood, NM passed away Thursday, August 14, 2008 with his loving family beside him. Julian was born January 9, 1930 to Eduvijen and Elvira Baldonado in Placitas, NM. Julian married his wife June F. Evertte of 60 years on August 10, 1948 in Bernalillo, NM. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM and owned Julian's Garage. Julian was preceded in death by his parents; son, Eddie Baldonado; brothers, Leroy Baldonado; Marciel Baldonado; and grandson, David Baldonado. He is survived by his wife June; daughter, Eileen Martinez and husband Andy of Edgewood, NM; sons, Julian Rodger Baldonado Jr.; Michael Baldonado and wife Virginia; Tommy Baldonado and wife Peggy, all of Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Ester Lerma of Reserve, NM; Lilian Riveria and husband Richard of Algodones, NM; Angelita Garcia and husband Alex of Albuquerque, NM; Sadie Baldonado of Algodones, NM; Loraine Segura of Albuquerque, NM; brothers, Jimmy Baldonado and wife Theresa of Algodones, NM; Gilbert Baldonado of Algodones, NM; ten grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and ten step great-grandchildren. A Viewing will be held Sunday, August 17, 2008 from 4:00-5:00 p.m., at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, August 17, 2008 at 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated Monday, August 18, 2008 at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Father Young will be officiating. Interment will follow the service at 1:30 p.m., at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Albuquerque, NM. Pallbearers will be Michael Baldonado, Dan Hendricks, Jerry Hendricks, Albino Gallardo Jr., Esteban Julian Gallardo, Javier Gallardo, Bernie Garcia, and Carlos Baldonado. Honorary Pallbearers will be Adam Martinez, Katlynn Hendricks, Julian Roger Baldonado Jr., Tommy Baldonado, Christopher Baldonado, Mathew Baldonado, and Angelo Baldonado.
