RUIZ -- Carlos Ruiz, 52, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 23, 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Aliesha Ruiz of Albuquerque; brothers, Lazaro Ruiz, Manuel Ruiz, Hilario Ruiz, Anselmo Ruiz, and Daniel Ruiz; sisters, Mary Esther Monsivais, Lupe San Miguel, Angie Crespin, Luz Elena Solis, Irma Ruiz, Naomi Ruiz, and Rebeca Ruiz; nieces and nephews; and several other relatives and friends, including his beloved dog; Hurricane. Carlos was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Ruiz and Macaria Flores Ruiz. He was born on August 9, 1955 and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1974. Carlos was employed by Discount Daves Auto Sales. He was a loving father and brother and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 28, 2008 at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit one hour prior to service time.
