BISHOP -- Mildred "Louise" Bishop, 75, former long time resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 17, 2008, in Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Marie Bishop; her brother, Chet; and Vaughn Mathews. She is survived by her children, son, David Mathews and wife Kay of Albuquerque; daughter, Christine Gough and husband Tim of Colorado, and daughter, Cheri Pierson of Michigan; grandchildren, JD and Heather Mathews, Wesley and Tecla Gough, and Kim and Caleb Pierson; and four great-grandchildren. Louise attended the Santa Fe School for the Deaf. She worked as a beautician and for the Social Security Administration. She sewed, quilted, and painted beautiful pictures. She did ceramics and held classes at her home. She was very active and loved the outdoors. She was loved and admired for her determination, sense of humor, and creativity. She touched the hearts of all those who met her; she will be extremely missed and will always be in our hearts. There will be a Private Ceremony in Colorado.
