SISNEROS -- Maria Elena Sisneros. Who was Maria? She was a daughter, sister, mother, auntie and friend who will be greatly missed. Maria was loved by many. She will be remembered for being fun, funny, loving, and always happy. Maria attended Albuquerque High School and was involved in many things; ROTC, Volleyball, basketball and track, to name a few. She was a mother of three beautiful boys, Joshua age 15, Russell age 9, and Isaiah age 7. Maria is also survived by her mother, Christela Chavez; her father, Teofilo Sisneros. As well, Maria considered Larry Chavez to be her father, because he raised her. She is also survived by her three brothers, Teddy, Johnny and Christopher; three sisters, Erica, Margaret and Angela and many others who loved and will miss her dearly. Visitation and Services will be held in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW. on Tuesday, May 20, 2008. The visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., with the Rosary being recited at 2:00 p.m. concluded by the Prayer Service immediately following the Rosary. Deacon Tibo Chavez will officiate.
