SEI -- Amerigo J. Sei. "Always the perfect gentleman" Amerigo J. Sei was born on January 22, 1921 in Albuquerque and passed away peacefully on Friday, May 16, 2008. Amerigo attended St. Mary's School and was a life long member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was a World War II veteran serving in England with the 235th Army Air Corps. With his brother, Joe, Amerigo owned Mori's Bar and Lounge in downtown Albuquerque. Amerigo's family were Italian immigrants and have been leaders in the local business community since the early days of the city. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Teresa Guest Sei; his sister's, Emma Keesling and Mary Franchini (John), all of Albuquerque; sisters-in-law, Regina Moran of Denver, CO and Rita Curran (John) of Albuquerque; brother-in-law, John Guest (Sophie) of Albuquerque; and many loving nieces and nephews. The Rosary will be recited Tuesday, May 20, 2008, 10:00 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper NW, the Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following the Rosary. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
