LOPEZ -- Florentina "Tina" Lopez, 95, a resident of Albuquerque since 1953, passed Friday, May 9, 2008. She is survived by her only daughter, Maida Casaus and husband, Victor, of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Dr. Michael Casaus and wife, Wendy, Donna Lanigan and husband, Michael; four great-grandchildren, Dr. Dana Casaus, Lauren Casaus, Kendall Lanigan, and Caitlin Lanigan; two half-brothers; and two half-sisters. Tina was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers; and four sisters. She was born on December 9, 1912, one month before New Mexico became a state, in Puerto de Luna, NM to Francisco and Juanita (Madrid) Padilla. Tina married Pablo Lopez in 1929 and they spent 63 wonderful years together until his death in 1994. She was a long time member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church until after her husband died when she became a member of Risen Savior Catholic Community. Tina was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Sunday, May 11, 2008 from 3:30 pm to 4:00 p.m. Rosary will be recited Sunday at 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Risen Savior Catholic Community, Monday, May 12, 2008, 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
