MATA -- Luka Kuaana Mata born August 24, 1921, Kaluaiakoko, Maui, was called home by our Father on April 30, 2008. She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, George D. Mata and their three loving children; Mary Alice K. Ayze, of Albuquerque, NM, George K.K. Mata, of San Diego, CA, and Richard K.K. Mata of St. Anne, IL. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and countless others who became part of her family through deep loving relationships. Visitation will be on Sunday May 4, 2008 from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th St. NW. A Celebration of Luka's life will be conducted on Tuesday May 6, 2008 at 11:00 am also in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
