STILL -- Geneva Still, an Abq. resident for 55 years, went to Heaven Thursday, April 17, 2008. She currently was living in Sombrillo Nursing Home of Los Alamos, NM, where she was dearly loved and cared for by their staff and her children, "Ranny" Joe and his wife, Lynelle, and their caring friends. She is also survived by two grandsons and their families, Brantley and Sandi and sons, Ryan and Reid of the Houston area, and Joel and Julie of the Dallas area; two nieces of Abq., Connie and Lynda; great-nephew, Jason of Las Cruces.; and two godsons, Larry and wife, Irene, and Lee and wife, Peggy, of Abq. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bert Still. Geneva was born in Iowa where she began a life career in bookkeeping, later moving to Abq. and keeping books for various firms as well as her beloved church of 50+ years, St Paul Lutheran Church. She loved to read, bake, and garden, and reach out to neighbors and friends. You are invited to a Visitation on Sunday, April 20, 2008, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at French Mortuary Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Services will be held on Monday, April 21, 2008, 10:30 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Indian School Rd and University, with a brief fellowship before the interment at Sandia Memory Garden, 9500 San Pedro Dr NE.
