KOSKI -- Hugo Robert Koski, 82, a resident of Elephant Butte, New Mexico and formerly of Albuquerque, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2008. Hugo was born July 15, 1925, the son of John A. and Anna Koski in Trout Creek, Michigan. He served in the United States Marines during World War II, in the China Marine area in the Pacific. He retired from the Sandia National Labs in 1983 after 22 years of service as a security guard. Hugo loved his family, his dogs, fishing, swimming, camping, and was an avid reader. He was preceded in death by one son, Tor Koski. Hugo is survived by his wife of 62 years, Norma Koski, of Elephant Butte, NM; three children, Kaylene Kaiser and husband, Russell, of Vallecito Lake, CO, Michael Koski and wife, Elizabeth, of Rio Rancho, NM, and Stanton Koski and wife, Charlene, of Rio Rancho, NM; seven grandchildren, Jake, Josh, Loretta, Renee, Denise, Erika, and Amanda; six great- grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Dahl, of Rockland, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held for Hugo on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, NM. Military Honors will be presented by New Mexico Honor Guard.
