COLE -- Ruth Joan Cole, 75, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008. She was born February 14, 1933 in Des Moines, Iowa. She spent many years of her life teaching English to school children of all ages. Ruth was an active Elks Lady with the Elks Lodge #461. Her passions included her family, crafts, and her beloved cats. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Brown; grandchildren, Mark Brown, Ronald and Michael Burns all of Lakewood, CO and one great granddaughter Zoe Brown of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Cole, III. Private memorial service will be held at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Cremated remains will be place with her husband.
