GILLIAM -- Evelyn Dolores Sanchez Gilliam, age 77, died Saturday, February 9, 2008 in Granville Medical Center. She was a native of New Mexico and was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Henrietta Heller Sanchez. She was preceded in death by her husband William Gilliam Jr. She is survived by two sons, Robert C. Gilliam of Oxford and Edward A. Gilliam of Durham; a sister, Carol Nottingham of Fairfax, VA; six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Richard and Beatriz Heller and her paternal grandparents, Jose and Roselia Sanchez; also two sisters, Patricia Smysley and Loretta Jonkeers. Services will be held Friday, February 15, 2008 from Immaculate Conception Church, 1619 Copper Ave. at 10:30 a.m. in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Reception will be at 1:00 p.m. at Church Street Cafe, 2111 Church Street, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Local arrangements are by Gentry-Newell & Vaughan Funeral Home, Oxford.
