SEYKOSKI -- Carrie Eileen Seykoski, 87, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, January 18, 2008. She is survived by her son, George Frederick Seyk and wife, Liane H. Seyk of Northbrook, IL; brother, Wayne Wanstreet and wife, Yvonne of WV; cousins, Jerry Lowther and wife, Shirley, Mark Lowther and wife, Lupe, Debbie Rodriguez and husband, David, Tim Lowther, Cathy Lowther, Brenda Pohl and husband, Phil, Connie Hagengruber and husband, Mike, and Dan Lowther and wife, Melissa, all of Albuquerque; and numerous other relatives and friends. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, George Seykoski. She was born on August 6, 1920 in Clarksburg, WV to James Frederick Wanstreet and Celia Belle White Wanstreet. Eileen met her husband George during WW II. They lived in Chicago until the 1980's when they moved to Albuquerque. She was a teaching volunteer at Chelwood Elementary for 14 years. Working with children was a joy to her. She was a loving mother and cousin and will be missed by all who knew her. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. Monday, January 21, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at John XXIII Catholic Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge NE, Tuesday, January 22, 2008, 11:00 a.m. with Father Arkad Biczak, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
