MUNIZ -- Eddie Muniz, 72, passed away January 18, 2008. He is survived by his sisters, Helen Barela, Mary Vigil and husband, Jose, and Pauline F. Congleton and husband, Marvin; brother, Joe Muniz and wife, Elsie; nieces, Paula Congleton, Patricia Gonzales, Loretta Lucero, Anita Barela, Diane Gutierrez, Rosemary Gonzales, Toni Mares, Gloria Sanchez, Betty Sarifin, Georgia Maez, and Jolene Muniz; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Byron and Meredith Congleton (nephews), Joe Sanchez, Alonso Estrada, Roman Maldonado, and Mel Sedillo. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerome and Jimmy Muniz (Nephews), Enrique Lucero, and Archie Mares Jr. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Holy Ghost church at 8:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
