WILLIAMS -- Florence (Bradford) Williams, 93, a resident of Albuquerque went home on Wednesday, January 16, 2008. Florence is survived by her daughters, Loly Cumiford and husband, Wayne of Albuquerque and Charlotte Denton and husband, Buddy of T or C, NM; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; one brother and one sister; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Williams, who was killed in Vietnam in 1969. She was born to Arthur and Minnie Bradford on March 14, 1914 in Tucumcari, NM. She was married in 1932. Florence was a National officer in Gold Star Mothers and held many state offices. She was a member of Blake Road Baptist Church for over 50 years where she served as librarian, teacher and other offices. Florence worked for 20 years as the secretary to the Vice President of Davis Brothers, Inc. She was an artist, a gardener and traveled to several foreign countries and all 50 states. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed. A Service in Florence's honor will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2008, 9:00 a.m. at French Mortuary - University Blvd. Chapel.
