MARTINEZ -- Lawrence Martinez, 75, died Tuesday, January 8, 2008. He is survived by his niece, Barbara; three sisters, Minnie Martinez, Dolores Gonzalez and Josie Tafoya and husband, Eustacio, and many other family and friends including several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Cecelia; his parents; two brothers and many of his friends. Mr. Martinez served his country in the US Army, loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing and was a member of San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, January 13, 2008, 6:00 p.m., at San Felipe with a Mass to be celebrated Monday, January 14, 2008, 10:00 a.m., also at San Felipe with Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
