MCCARTHY -- Ruth L. McCarthy, 95, resident of Cuba, NM, and past longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2008. She is survived by her daughter, Jacque Mangham and husband, Jim of Cuba, NM; grandchildren, Jerry Mangham and wife, Patty, and Kelly Van Havermaat and husband, Pete; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. McCarthy. Ruth was the last of her brothers and sisters in the Yearout family. She and her family have been residents of Albuquerque since 1925. She was an active member of the Adah Chapter and Daughters of the Nile and past Queen of the Nile. Services will be held Monday, January 7, 2008, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd Chapel.
