LUCERO -- Albert Lucero (May 25, 1963 - December 23, 2007) Albert Lucero age 44 of Clovis, NM died Sunday December 23, 2007 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. Mass will be held 9:00 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Albuquerque with Father Bijoy Francis officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. Pallbearers will be Lucas Jaramillo, Pablo Alires, Joe Pino Jr., Andrew DeMarcus, Robert Lucero, Shane Boyce, and Albert Lucero Jr. Albert was born May 25, 1963 to Santiago and Carolina Gutierrez Lucero in Albuquerque, NM. He married Vanessa December 2, 2003 in Clovis, NM. He worked in Civil Service at Cannon AFB with Ameritac Construction. He was a Nascar and Miami Dolphin Fan and an avid sports card collector. Survivors include his wife, Vanessa Lucero of the home; three sons, Albert S. (Chassity) Lucero of Ribera, NM, Zachary Genson and John David Lynch, a brother, Louis (Reyna) Lucero of Cuba, NM; four sisters, Carmel (Joe) Pino of Tucumcari, NM; Theresa (Gilbert) Chavez of Albuquerque, NM; Patsy Wilson of Tulsa, OK; and Margaret (Johnny) Bustos of Alamosa, CO; his mother, Carolina Lucero of Albuquerque, NM; a grandson, Albert Charles Lucero of Ribera, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Santiago Lucero; a sister, Ruby Granillo; two nephews, Angelo Alires, and Richard Lucero. Arrangments are by Muffley Funeral Home, Inc.
