LUCERO -- Gilbert R. Lucero, 73, died December 17, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Frances; children, Gilbert Lucero Jr. and wife, Judy, Frank Lucero and wife, Connie, Karen Lucero, Patricia Cortez, Joseph Lucero and Santana; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lorenzo and Ramon Lucero; sister, Mela Gallegos and many other relatives and friends. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Catalina Lucero and his grandson, Joshua Lucero. He was employed by ACF and retired from General Electric in 1995. Gilbert served his country in the US Army. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. December 18, 2007 at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 11:00 a.m. December 19, 2007 with burial to follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. before the Rosary.
