KARNS -- Mary "Louise" Karns, 85, died peacefully in her home with her loved ones on Sunday, December 16, 2007. Louise is the daughter of Ann Lou Broocke and Arthur Wohlenberg. Louise was born in Gallina, NM on March 15, 1922. Louise has two sisters, Mildred Bridge of Regina, NM and Ruby Carson of Albuquerque; son, Richard Karns of Albuquerque; grandson, Travis Karns; and two nieces, three nephews. Louise is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Norman J. Karns. Louise has been a resident of Albuquerque since she purchased her home in 1951. Louise retired from Safeway after 20 years. Louise will be missed by her family, friends and neighbors. She has been a sweet and wonderful lady. Memorial Service will be Wednesday, December 19, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd., NE.
