GRIEGO -- Josefina Griego went home to be with the Lord on December 16, 2007 at the age of 94. She was born on September 13, 1913 to Daniel and Genoveva Herrera. Josefina enjoyed knitting and crocheting in her free time. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isidro Griego, her six sons, two daughters and two grandsons. She is survived by her children, Fermin Griego and wife, Linda, Waldo Griego, Paul Griego and wife, Josefina, Priscilla Griego, Sophia Martinez and Rudy Jaramillo and Consuelo Amezaga and husband, Alfonso; her sister, Mela Garcia of Oakland, California. She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all. Visitation for Josefina will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the 8th Street Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Garcia Mortuary. Final visitations will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 between 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. with a Communion Service to follow at San Ignacio Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Griego, Jefferey Griego, Ruben Griego, Rudy Griego, Anthony Martinez and Derek Chavez.
