SHAW -- John L. Shaw, 69, of Albuquerque, passed away November 21, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Marylou Shaw; children, Teresa Shaw and John Robert Shaw; six grandchildren, Michelle Luna, Demetria Vasquez, Alfredo Calderon, Anthony Valencia, Sierra Shaw, and Savannah Shaw; and 12 great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Valencia-Shaw. He proudly served in the US Army for twenty three years retiring as a command sergeant major in 1979. After his career with the Army he went on to work in the aerospace industry. He had a great love for his family and his country. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Aspen Funeral Chapel with burial at Santa Fe National Cemetery following. The Shaw family would like to give special thanks to the New Mexico Patriots for all of their support at this difficult time. John will truly be missed by all who knew him.
