LUCERO-GALLEGOS -- Karen Lucero-Gallegos, 49, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died on Tuesday, November 20, 2007. She is survived by her husband, Norman Gallegos; brothers, Simon and Steven Lucero; three stepsons, Julian, Mario, and Adan; and her beloved granddaughter, Makayla. She was a devoted member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church where she was an active member of the wives of the Knights of Columbus. She also volunteered much of her time with Presbyterian Healthcare services at High Resort. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed. Karen was fragile in health, but strong in heart and her Catholic faith. Rosary will be held Monday, November 26, 2007, 7:00 pm at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW. Memorial mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 27, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
