SERNA -- Mary (Maldonado-Mora). Our Lord took our mother to His heavenly home on November 6, 2007 at the age of 94. Mary was born in Chilili, NM on April 20, 1913, daughter of Adolfo Maldonado and Mariana Nieto-Maldonado. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Baltasar Mora and Manuel Serna; children Richard (Sonny) Serna and Jenny Martinez-Griego; grandchildren, Matthew (Joey) Mora, Lawrence (Larry) Mora, Richard (Ricki) Mora, Placido Perez Jr., Lupe Perez, Anthony Martinez, and great-grandson, Kenny Chavez. Mary is survived by her children, Mathew Mora (wife, Geri) of Rio Rancho, NM, Mary Ann Perez (husband, Placido) of Albuquerque, NM, Cipri Chavez of Phoenix, AZ, Priscilla Ramirez (husband, Julian) of Albuquerque, NM, and Manuel Serna (wife, Eva) of Belen, NM; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all. Visitations will be held on Friday, November 9, 2007 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services-Garcia Mortuary. Mass of the Resurrection will be on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services-Garcia Mortuary with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie Perez, Frank Perez, Manuel Perez, Julian Ramirez Jr., Juan Ramirez, and Dennis Pritchard. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Chavez and Neal Perez.
