DUNCAN -- Mary Duncan, 90, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2007. She is survived by her nephews, Edward and Kenneth Miller; nieces, Julie Miller and Barbara Vlad, all of Wisconsin; and foster children, Weimin Yuen and Rosita Loo of North Carolina. Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett, and son, Bob Hill. Mary and Emmitt owned the Mr. Swiss restaurant near downtown Albuquerque for eighteen years in the 1970s and 1980s, and worked closely for many years with her dear friend, Lucy Candelaria. The Duncans were also members of the Lions Club. A private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery, where Mary will be laid to rest alongside her husband.
