Donald was born May 26, 1934 in Moriarty, NM to Clarence and Ruth (Scarbough) Davis. Donald married Velda Chubb in Albuquerque, NM on February 19, 1960. He was preceded in death by parents; Donald was a member of Del Norte Baptist Church, and avid tennis player, and loved computers. Donald is survived by his wife, Velda Davis; sons, Ron Davis; Dennis Davis and wife, Sarah; daughter, Donna Carol Romero and husband, Lorenzo; brothers, Walter Davis and wife, Frances; Ronald (Tooter) Davis and wife, Shirley; sister, Shirley Maldonado and husband, Bob as well as six grandchildren. A Viewing will be held Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty, NM from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Del Norte Baptist Church located at 5800 Montgomery NE, Albuquerque, NM; Dr. Robert Myers will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty, NM. Pallbearers are Steve Collins, Scott Davis, Tyler Davis, Ronald (Tooter) Davis, Walter Davis, and Bob Maldonado. Honorary Pallbearer will be Harry Davis. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Benevolence Fund of Del Norte Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
