GUTIERREZ -- Maria V. Gutierrez, age 93, beloved mother and grandmother, was called to Eternal Rest, Saturday, October 13, 2007. Mrs. Gutierrez was a resident of La Jara, NM. She had very strong family values, and faith in prayer. She loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Gutierrez; and a son, Tony Gutierrez. Mrs. Gutierrez is survived by her loving children, Lucy Chavez and husband, Cruz, Dorothy Lemoine and husband, Damian, Katie Hernandez and husband, Juan, Marcia Chavez and husband, Ronnie, Bobby Gutierrez and Mary, Peter Gutierrez and wife, Dolores, Ricky Gutierrez and wife, Donna; 21 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many more other beloved family members and friends. Maria will be greatly missed by her loving family. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Santo Nino Catholic Church, in La Jara, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment will follow at the La Jara Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Epi Atencio, Jacob Gutierrez, Bobby Gutierrez, Jr., Daniel Gutierrez, John Gutierrez, and Lawrence Chavez. Honorary bearers will be Joseph Valdez, Michael Guillen, Felix Gutierrez, Sosteno Gutierrez, and Antonio Chacon.
