TRUJILLO -- Jose Armando Salomon Trujillo - Age 78a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2007. He was preceded in death by his father, Armando Trujillo; brothers: Waldo and Facundo Trujillo; sister, Sobie Quintana and sons: Armando and Robert Trujillo, may their souls rest in peace. Mr. Trujillo was born on December 13, 1928 to Armando Trujillo and Maria Ingnacia Chacon in Vallecitos, New Mexico. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He was very crafty in making colonial furniture. He loved going to Chimayo out in the country. He also built himself a small apartment in Chimayo which he loved to spend time in. He was always making wise cracks at people but he was never serious about it, he just thought it was funny. Mr. Trujillo will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. Jose is survived by mother, Maria Ignacia Trujillo of Las Cruces; daughters, Linda Barbar and husband, Raymond, Marylou Hildebrand and husband, Ross all of Sacramento, CA., Beatrice Martinez and husband, Paul of Chimayo, Louella Guerra and husband, Larry of Edgewood and Tina Romero and friend, David Reyes of Santa Fe; sisters, Loyda Gurule of Ojo Caliente, Elsie Trujillo and husband, Robert Rotunno of Belen and Erlinda DeVargas and husband, Robert of Las Cruces and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. A Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 30 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. A prayer service will be recited on Monday 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. A graveside military service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
