FASON -- Thomas Henry Fason, 73, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at the VA Hospital. Mr. Fason was born on January 18, 1934 to Henry and Margie (Smith) Fason of Grand Junction, TN. He served our nation in the US Air Force and was a longtime member of VFW and AMVETS. Mr. Fason is survived by his wife, Irene Fason; two sons, Thomas Anthony Fason and Gregory Allen Fason, both of Albuquerque, NM; seven grandchildren, Albert, Shanna, Michael, Gregory, Alyssa, Xavier, and Isaac; mother, Margie B. Fason; brother, Johnnie Fason and wife, Yvonne; sisters, Mary James and husband, Lawrence, and Margie Turner; and a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing. He is preceded in death by a son, Michael B. Fason and his father, Henry Fason. Services will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the East Base Chapel at Kirtland Air Force Base with Chaplain Mueller officiating.
