DAVIS -- JoAnne Taber Davis, passed away, Monday, September 17, 2007 after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jim Davis; daughter, Sheryl Davis of Albuquerque; son, Mike Davis and wife, Amy and grandchildren, Josh and Jordan Davis, all of Albuquerque; sister-in-law, Betty Howard; nieces, Debi Dodge and husband, Clint, Shelly Barreras and husband, Steve, and Kim Howard; nephews, Jimmy Tudor and Cindy, Rex Howard and wife, Betty, Jeff Howard and wife, Sheila and daughter, Tina; and many friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her dad, Joe Taber and mom, Odessa Taber. She was born in Corpus Christi, TX on July 8, 1939 and moved to Albuquerque in 1949. JoAnne graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1957. JoAnne retired from APS after working as a secretary at Bandelier, John Baker, and Zuni Elementary. She enjoyed traveling to Laughlin, Las Vegas and Florida. Graveside Services will be held Friday, September 21, 2007, 2:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
