GARCIA -- Julia Baca Garcia, age 81, of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2007. Julia enjoyed being outside working in her garden. She played the piano and loved dancing. Julia was a gracious hostess, always welcoming to everyone. Family was very important to her. She adored her grandchildren. Julia is survived by her daughter, Frances Garcia; son, David Garcia and wife, Denise; daughter-in-law, Lucille Garcia; grandchildren, Norina, Julie, Ben, Tina and Sarah; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Baca. She was preceded in death by husband, Santos Garcia and son, Rodrigo Garcia. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary Westside Chapel with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
