WRIGHT -- George Wright, Master Chief Petty Officer, U.S. Navy, Ret., passed away September 8, 2007 in Bernalillo after a long illness. George retired from the Navy December 1967 having served in Korea and during Vietnam. In 1968 he moved to Santa Fe, where he lived and worked until August 2004. He attended the University of Maryland and the College of Santa Fe. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie; daughter, Melissa of Roswell, NM; grandchildren, Andrew, Justin, Ryan, Corey, Camilla and Adam, and his brother, Donald Wright of Norfolk, VA. There will be a Rosary held Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 2400 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM. A Memorial Mass will be held at Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, 213 Cathedral Place, Santa Fe, NM, Monday, September 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
