VALDEZ -- Rosabel Valdez, age 65 of Raton, NM, passed away on September 9, 2007. She was born August 23, 1942 in Raton the daughter of John A. and Lucy Valdez. She was a member of the St. Patrick/ St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Raton. Rosabel was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Richard and Ernie Valdez. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Daniels and husband, Thomas of Ocean Springs, MS and Rosemarie Vigil and husband, Raymond of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Tommy, Elizabeth, Heather, Bobby, and Felipe; and one great-grandchild. Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will take place Monday September 17, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick-St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Father Daniel Balizan as the celebrant. Rite of committal and interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
