CABASIER -- Frank Charles Cabasier, age 80, was born April 2, 1927 in Anderson, IN. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Wednesday, September 12, 2007. Frank Honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in Hiroshima. He worked as a Tool and Cutter Grinder for Sandia Laboratory, retiring after many years of service. Frank met his loving wife of 55 years, Juanita, while enjoying one of his favorite hobbies, roller skating. He was a real pro at trick roller skating, and will also be fondly remembered by his fantastic whistling ability. Frank would often whistle along with his favorite tunes. He will also be remembered as a loving man who was very active at his Church, Lighthouse Baptist Church. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Dolly; his two daughters, Roselyn Kay and Gloria Jean; and sisters, Lorene and Connie. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Juanita R. Cabasier of the family home in Albuquerque; two sons, Franklin Ray Cabasier of Rio Rancho, NM, Philip Douglas Cabasier and wife, Sharon of Bullhead City, AZ; three daughters, Mary Susan Mleczko and husband, Richard of Albuquerque, Theresa Anne Cabasier of Albuquerque, Nancy Carol Ellington and husband, David of San Jose, CA; nine grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; other family members and numerous church family and friends who loved and will miss him. Visitation and Services will be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 4001 12th St. NW, at 12th and Candelaria, on Friday, September 14, 2007. A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Pastors, Dr. Larry E. Kennedy and Dr. John F. Blue will officiate. Burial will then take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m., with U.S. Army Honors. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution, in Frank's name, to the Lighthouse Baptist Church Building Fund, 4001 12th St. NW, ABQ, NM. 87107.
