GURULE -- Josefita Gurule, born in Belen, NM on April 29, 1927, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2007. Josefita was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Ventura Gurule. She is survived by her son, Daniel Gurule and his wife, Maria, their sons, Daniel Adrian Gurule and Gabriel Gurule; son, Joseph Gurule and his, daughters, Yvette Gurule and Rebecca Gurule and partner, Logan Russell; daughters-in-law, Darlene Gurule and Viktoriya Gurule; and numerous family and friends. Josefita was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church here in Albuquerque. A special thanks to her caregivers Maria Socorro Alcantar and Lupe Rodriguez. Visitation will be Thursday, August 30, 2007, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Garcia Mortuary 8th Street Chapel, with a Rosary Service to follow in the Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, 550 Atrisco Drive SW, at 9 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2007. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Adrian Gurule, Gabriel Gurule, Gilbert Gurule, Richard Chavez, David Montoya, and Ernest Flores and Honorary Pallbearer Ernesto Trujillo.
