DWYER-JARAMILLO -- Marjorie (Margie) 68, passed away August 12, 2007 after a long struggle with Cerebellar Degeneration. She was born January 19, 1939 in Belen, NM, to the late Rosita Silva-Stroop and Librdro Sanchez. Margie's Mom died 4 years ago in Espanola. Margie lived most of her life in NM. She grew up in Espanola, until the age 26 when She met Clarence Dwyer. He was just passing through NM, stopped for gas (Phillips 66) and Margie waited on him. He was so struck by her looks that he came back to the gas station and a few months later, ask her to marry him. She said yes and they moved to Dumas, Texas. There she gave birth to two beautiful children. While the children were still babies, they moved back to Espanola. Margie missed her mother(Rose). Margie raised two children, played guitar, love planting trees and flowers, dancing, singing and enjoyed life. She was an outstanding cook, made the best pies and made quilts by hand. She was well known in the community for her looks, the pride in raising her children, and being a great wife and friend to everyone. She worked for the Chrysler dealership in Espanola for over 4 years and then managed the Cooks trailer park for over 10 years until her illness didn't allow her to work. She was funny, smart, she was very "outdoorsy". She was well respected, and loved by her children and family. She was a loving wife, mother and friend. She is survived by her two children, Kyle Dwyer of Santa Fe and Twyla Dwyer of Las Vegas, NV; 2 grandchildren, Alexander Huizar (16), and Katelynn Dwyer (2) of Espanola; brother, Richard Sanchez of San Juan Pueblo; many family members in Belen, cousin, Anna Drennen of Virginia; great aunt and uncle, Lu and Harold Wallis of Barstow, Calif. and many cousins that live in Barstow. Margie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She will be in our hearts for ever. She is at home now so happy and bright in the everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over. She is now at peace forever. A good person with a big heart that ran out of summers to show it to all. Cremation has taken place. There are no services scheduled to celebrate her life because the person that she appointed to be Power of Attorney did not feel it was important. So her family will celebrate every day the joy she brought to each person. You can't stop love! No matter how much power someone has over you. Blood is thicker than water. Margie's favorite saying: "do unto others as you want to be done unto you".
