SANCHEZ -- Milton V. Sanchez, 67, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died August 15, 2007. He is survived by his children, Dr. Debi Sanchez of Rinconada, Lisa Sanchez and husband, David of Albuquerque, Brenda Sanchez of Albuquerque, and Vincent Sanchez of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren, Ashley Sanchez of Albuquerque, Tara Arellano and husband, Adam of Albuquerque, Jessica Sanchez of Albuquerque, and Taylor Sanchez of Albuquerque, and a great-grandchild on the way; sisters, Angie Carlton and husband, Roger of Albuquerque, Patricia Flavian and husband, Bill of Farmington; brothers, Jerry Sanchez and wife, Estelle of Upland, CA, Pilar Sanchez of Belen, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Sanchez was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Sanchez and his mother, Ramona Clark. Milton had a lifelong career in the meat and food industry. He was owner and operator of Hughes Meat Company for close to twenty years. He loved to play the ponies and was also the owner of several racehorses in the past. Milton had many friends and was loved by all for his openhanded generosity and witty sense of humor. Milton would give his last dollar to someone on the street corner and say "You never know, he might be an angel!" He will be deeply missed and memories of him forever treasured. Services will be held Monday, August 20, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel.
