MYER -- Mary Lou Myer, age 87, of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2007. She was born August 17, 1919 in Pueblo, CO. Mary Lou attended Nursing School in Arizona, attaining her R.N. She joined the Army Nursing Corps in 1944. After WWII she did Public Health Nursing in Questa, NM. Following that, she did office nursing for a physician in Albuquerque. After her retirement, Mary Lou spent many years volunteering with the University of New Mexico Hospital. She became President of the New Mexico Hospital Association. Mary Lou was a long-time member of the Tierra del Sol Toast Mistress Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard "Barney" Myer in 1998. Mary Lou is survived by her daughter, Joan Domain and her husband, Patrick; granddaughter, Sarah Murrow; and brother, Albert Leonard.
