LOWE -- James W. Lowe, 60, Topeka, KS, died Monday, August 13, 2007, at his home. He was born August 24, 1946, at Clovis, NM, the son of Alec P. and Ruth V. (Campbell) Lowe. He served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne and was a Ranger in Viet Nam. He was in the Marine Corps National Guard. He worked in the BNSF Shops for 34 years. Jim was a member of the Southern Baptist Church; DAV; American Legion Post 49 of Albuquerque; and NRA. He was married to Gerry Ann (Dunn) on August 24, 2005, in Topeka. She survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son: James Lowe of Hampton, VA; a daughter: Janet Buenafe of Canoga Park, CA; three step-children; a sister: Margaret Manz of Gallup, NM; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
