JAQUES -- Juan Jaques, age 83, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2007. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Juan was retired from the Santa Fe Railroad after 35 years of dedicated service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucas and Tiburcia Jaques; three brothers, Manuel, Jesus, Joe and Faustino Jaques; and sister, Frances Vela. Juan is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Priscilla Jaques; five devoted children, Jeanne Butts, Tina Viera and her husband, Andy, Emma Armendariz and her husband, Julian, Margaret Sanchez and her husband Romeo and Donna Jaques; seven grandchildren, Brenda Trujillo, Julianne Armendariz, Audrey Viera, Christopher Viera, Jaynie Brookshire and her husband, Danny, Donald E. Butts, and Joni DiPatri; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret Pena. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Juan's wishes were to be cremated. A visitation will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Mt.
