GARCIA -- Abel Lloyd Garcia, 69, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on August 14, 2007, with his family by his side and is now in Heaven with Our Lord. Abel is the beloved husband to Rosalie Garcia married for 47 years. Abel is also survived by his children, Earl Garcia and wife, Joanna, Karie L. Garcia and fiance, Desi Garcia, Paul D. Garcia and fiance, Yvonne Baca; his loving mother, Dora Garcia; three sisters, Karen Manuelito and husband, Dan, Diana Bernal and husband, Daniel and Sandra Garcia; seven brothers, Dori Garcia and wife, Ernie, Roy Garcia and wife, Rosella, Clarence Garcia and wife Dolores, Salvador Garcia Jr., Reyes Garcia, Uvaldo Garcia and wife, Jean and Ray Garcia; seven grandchildren, Phillip, Felicia, Claudine, Celina, Cassandra, Jeanne, Emily and Eric; fourteen great grandchildren; his in-laws, Elisa Clubb and Ray Marquez and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Abel was preceded in death by a son, Martin and his father, Salvador Garcia Sr. Abel was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served in the Vietnam Era. Abel was a 17 year Heart Transplant Recipient. Visitation for Abel will be Friday morning from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m. by Trinnie and Valerio Lucero. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors by the United States Air Force. Pallbearers will be Dori Garcia, Roy Garcia, Clarence Garcia, Salvador Garcia, Reyes Garcia, Uvaldo Garcia and Ray Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers will be Phillip Garcia, Adam Gomez, Fabian Garcia, Rodney Garcia and Danny Manuelito Jr. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW.
