TRUJILLO -- Juanita Chavez Trujillo 85 passed away on August 8, 2007 at the Paloma Blanca Nursing Home. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 22, 1922 in Lamy New Mexico to Leandro M.Chavez and Julia Carrillo Chavez. She was baptized Juana de Arc. Juanita was preceded in death by her son Modesto Serfine Chavez. She is survived by her children John Joe Trujillo and wife Rita Griego; Julia Eloida Vivan Rose Nowakowski and Husband Tony. Seven grandchildren: Raymond and wife Deana; David, Tommy, Debbie and husband Leroy; John Joe Jr. and wife Natalie; Angela Serna and husband James; Tanya Jean Marie Galvan and husband Josh. Ten great-grandchildren Eric, Eddie, Antonio, Benito, John Joe III, Victoria, Aaron, Leticha, Andres and Sussana. Brothers Eliseo, processo and wife Aurora; sisters Frances, Hope and Rosa and husband Aaron; and many nieces and nephew. Juanita worked as a Harvey Girl in the fifties. Juanita was also known, for her homemade breas. a memorial service will be Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at Holy Family Church, 550 Atrisco Dr. SW. Rosery will be at 8:30 a.m. with memorial service following . Creamation has taking place.
